Let it be / Que así sea...

Eran los años 1969 cuando la banda más famosa de Liverpool se encontraba en una crisis como ninguna...estaban a punto de separarse.

1969 were the years when the most famous band from Liverpool were found in a big problem ... they were about to separate. 

Cuentan las leyendas (porque nunca se confirmo o negó nada) que los 4 miembros habían empezado a distanciarse, peleaban por cosas sin valor y en términos sencillos cada quién había dispuesto que deseaba seguir su camino por individual o en otros proyectos que no involucraban a los otros miembros de la banda. 

Legend has it (because they never confirmed or denied anything) that the 4 members had begun to separate, they fought over worthless things and in simple terms everyone had said that they want go its own way of form individually or in other projects that did not involve the other members of the band.

Había llegado a tal problema que ya no podían grabar juntos, por lo que la disquera había dispuesto hacer grabar a cada uno por individual para luego juntar las pistas.

They had come to such a problem that they could no longer record together, so that the record label decided that each member of the band recorded for separately and later the tracks would join.

Es en medio de este caos musical que Paul McCartney escribe una de las tal vez más bellas melodías que he tenido el agrado de oír: Let it Be.

It is amidst this musical chaos that Paul McCartney write perhaps one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever had the pleasure to hear: Let it Be. 

¿Pero de dónde nace esta canción? / But where did this song come from? 

A simple vista pareciera que es una plegaria a la Virgen María para que sucediera lo que sucediera ella cuide de cada uno de los integrantes: "Cuando me encuentro en tiempos de problemas Madre María viene a mí" pero lo cierto es que es mucho más profunda de lo que parece.

At first glance it seems that is a prayer to the Virgin Mary for that no matter what happens she cares for each one of the members: "When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me," but the truth is that it is much deeper than it seems. 

Se dice que en medio del caos Paul tuvo un sueño, soñó con su madre que había fallecido el 31 de Octubre de 1956 producto de un cáncer de mama;  y es a raíz de este sueño que escribe Let it Be, pues se dice que su madre, una mujer muy católica siempre le había dicho a McCartney: Let it Be (Que así sea).

It is said that in the middle of chaos Paul had a dream, he dreamed of his mother who passed away on October 31, 1956 Product of breast cancer, and it is because of this dream that he wrote Let it Be, it is said that his mother, a Catholic woman had always him: Let It be (so be it).

Madre María viene a mí / mother mary comes to me

Es bien sabido que Mother Mary (Madre María) hace referencia a su madre, por lo que estas líneas son sencillas pues hacen alución que cuando él tenía problemas, él recurre a su mamá en busca de consejos.

It is well known that Mother Mary refers to his mother, so these lines are simple as they make allusion when he was in trouble, he turns to her mom for advice.

Hablando palabras de sabiduría, que así sea / speaking words of wisdom, let it be,

Se dice que ella ante cualquier situación muy complicada a modo de decirle que no se preocupará, que las cosas sucedían por algo y que todo mejoraría; le daba palabras de aliento y terminaba diciéndole: "Que así sea"

It says that she before any very complicated situation her form say that he not be anxious, that things happened for something and the situation will improve, she gave him words of encouragement and she ended him by saying: "Let it be"

Y en mi hora de oscuridad, / and in my hour of darkness

Ella está en pie justo delante de mí / she is standing right in front of me

Él siempre sentía que ella lo acompañaba; pero sobre todo en los momentos más angustiantes él la sentía más cerca de sí.

He always felt that she was with him, but above all in the most distressing moments he felt her closer to him.

Que vive en el mundo se ponga de acuerdo / living in the world agree

Habrá una respuesta, que así sea / there will be an answer, let it be

Este párrafo empezaba a hacer alusión a lo que acontecía dentro de la banda, pues sus compañeros no lograban ponerse de acuerdo sobre nada, las peleas se habían vuelto intolerables. Paul esperaba que todos lograran ponerse de acuerdo, dejarán sus diferencias de lado para poder seguir haciendo lo que amaban: música.

This paragraph beginning to hint at what was happening within the band, as his colleagues could not to agree about nothing, fights had become insufferable. Paul expected that all were able to agree, leave their differences aside in order to keep doing what they loved: music.

Aún cuando cada quién se fuera por su lado, él esperaba que recapacitaran y volvieran a estar de nuevo juntos.

Although each follow its own way, he expected that they think it again and come back together again.

Él esperaba que en medio de ese mal tiempo los demás se dieran cuenta que estaban ahí para hacer música, para compartir ello que los había unido. No era por el dinero o por cada uno, era por todos y por hacer aquello que amaban: "Me levanto con el sonido de la música", hace alusión a que aún hay una salida, y esa salida es unirse y crear una canción.

He hoped that in the midst of bad weather that others realize that they were there to make music, to share that it had joined. It was not about money or each, this was for everyone and for do what they loved: "I wake up with the sound of music," he hints that there is still a way out, and that output is to join and create a song.

"Madre María viene a mi hablando palabras de sabiduría, Que así sea", es entonces cuando su madre le recordará que tal cual el lo quiso así fue.

"Mother Mary comes to me speaking words of wisdom, Let it be", that's when his mother will remind you that is how he wanted and it was.

Mi Opinión... / My Opinion...

Es asombroso saber que de tan solo un sueño Paul creo algo tan magnífico. Lo considero personalmente como un himno ante los momentos negativos, y de verdad que hubiera deseado que los demás integrantes de The Beatles entendieran el significado y recapacitarán; lamentablemente aún con todo, esta canción formo parte de su último disco.

It is amazing to know that of just a dream Paul created something so magnificent. Personally I consider it as a hymn to the negative moments, and I really wished that the other members of The Beatles understand the meaning and think again,  yet unfortunately however, this song was part of his latest album.
